A message from our President.
Welcome to the Steinbeck Rotary Club! Chartered in 1981 under Founding President Wilbur Stevens, Steinbeck Rotarians are known throughout Monterey County as some of the most active, most fun loving, and most hard working Rotarians around.
We are known throughout Rotary's District 5230 for our strong support of the Youth Exchange Program, participating every year since 1985. As we prepare to say goodbye to our 07-08 Inbound Student, Anna Lunde Fjæstad from Norway, we are excited to sponsor our 08-09 Outbound Student, Megan Leonard who heads to Norway on August 2nd. Soon after on August 11th, our 08-09 Inbound Student, Yu-Shu "Sunny" Sun will arrive from Taiwan. Let's make it a year she will cherish forever!
Our ongoing relationship with the students, staff, and administration at Alisal and Everett Alvarez High Schools are paramount to our Community Service and Youth Service Programs. Browse our site for details of all the incredible projects we run with these great kids!
Our Club meetings are by far the most fun you can have at 7AM! Join us every Wednesday at the National Steinbeck Center, One Main Street, Salinas. See you there!
